Should work on all Thinkpad models:<\/p>\n
*Enter the BIOS Settings.<\/p>\n
*In Config -> Intel AMT, set Intel AMT Control to disabled.<\/p>\n
*Save and Reboot.<\/p>\n
*You will be asked whether to unconfigure AMT, select Y (Yes) and wait some minutes, the pc will restart afterwards.<\/p>\n
Password requirements:<\/p>\n
*At least 8 characters<\/p>\n
*One upper case letter<\/p>\n
*One lower case letter<\/p>\n
*One number<\/p>\n
*One special character \/ non alpha numeric character, but : doesnt seem to work<\/p>\n
*No spaces or „<“ or „>“<\/p>\n
*Go back to the BIOS an enable aMT again.<\/p>\n
*Now you can set your new password by pressing CTRL+P after the initial hardwaretests<\/p>\n
